TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Yṣbḥ ʾrym, descendant of Mwqṣm and Bws¹m, and his wife Krbt of M-
   2  wqṣm, from Ṣirwāḥ, vassals of the king, dedicated to their lady ʾmʿṯtr,
   3  mistress of Bnn, this four statues in bronze, in praise because ʾmʿṯtr
   4  granted them both a son and three daughters and the life of all these
   5  children and the revival of their souls thanks to these children, and may ʾmʿṯtr
   6  continue to grant their two servants Yṣbḥ and Krbt healthy children, for their safety
   7  and the safety of their children, and may ʾmʿṯtr increase to them
   8  prosperity and good luck and the safety of their sons Ḫrf, Mgdʿl, Rb-
   9  bt and ʿmʿtq, banū Mqṣm, and good harvests and crops in
  10  their land Nḫl Ḫrf and the pastureland for their cattle; by the mother of ʿṯtr.
