CULTURAL NOTES

Yʾs¹r is the main god worshipped in the necropolis of Shukaʿ, located in the southern Yemeni plateau. Three short dedicatory texts quote this god: CSAI I, 128=CIAS T 62/p 8/54.10, CSAI I, 140=KH 302 and CSAI I, 141=KH 313.
