TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  ʿmḏkr, son of Lḥyʿm, of the family ʾbrn, dedicated to Ḥwkm his person, his faculties, his
   2  goods, his son Hwfʿṯt, his brothers ʾbʾns¹, Nbṭʿm, Hwtr-
   3  ʿṯt, ʾbʿly and ʿmʾns¹, and all their sons, when ʿm-
   4  ḏkr transferred to Ḥwkm from his property, because Ḥwkm saved ʿmḏkr in all that he
   5  asked Him, and saved him in war and peace. By ʿm, by ʾnby, by Ḥ-
   6  wkm, by ḏt Ṣntm, by ḏt Rḥbn, by ḏt Ẓhrn, by ḏt Ḥmy-
   7  m, by Ydʿʾb Ḏbyn, king of Qatabān, and by his tribe, his ʾqwl, (tribe of) Bklm ḏ-Mry-
   8  mtm. ʿmḏkr committed to Ḥwkm his dedication against everyone who may move it from its place.
