GENERAL NOTES

The inscription comes from the capital of the Ḥaḍramawt kingdom.
The text contains signs of linguistic contact, and looks as it was not written in Qataban.
We could think of a temple dedicated to a Qatabanic god in Shabwa, for a community living there. Chronologically it is probably of period C.
