1 Mʿdkrb ʾwḥg Yhbḥ, qyl of S²ddm, of the family S¹mhs¹mʿ, constructed and built his 2 tower Rdʿm from foundation to top, by the help and the favour of ʿṯtr S²rqn and their god ʿṯtr 3 ḏ-Ẓhr-Ys¹r and their tutelary deity ʿṯtr ḏ-ʾlmm, and by the command of their lord Ys¹rm Yhṣdq and his 4 sons, kings of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, and by the power and the service and the authority of their tribe S²ddm Yhqbḍ. |

CULTURAL NOTES
ʿṯtr S²rqn, the god symbol of the Ḥimyarite identity, appears in first position in invocation, preceding the tribal god of S²ddm ʿṯtr ḏ-Ẓhr-Ys¹r.
Only two documents of this Ḥimyarite king were known so far: CIH 41 and Av. Aqmar 1. As far as the textual content, the text can be in particular compared to Av. Aqmar 1 (Avanzini 1985: 85-95, pls 15 and 16).
It is important to note that the tribe of S²ddm has the epithet of Yhqbḍ, which is a clear reference to the Ḥimyarite side of the royal title of ʿmdn Byn Yhqbḍ.
