1 ʾls²rḥ son of Hwfʿm of the family Ḏrʾn made and gained legal possession, built and restored his 2 house Lḥgm and its lower rooms and its hall and its upper rooms and its well 3 and its walls and its inner rooms in its entirety, according to the orders of ʾnby and let there be no violation thereof; from foundation 4 to top and he has committed it to the protection of ʿm ḏ-Rymtm and ʾnby and the kings of Qa- 5 tabān for him and for his offspring and his successors; by ʿṯtr and by ʿm ḏ-Dwn- 6 m and by ʿm ḏ-Rymtm and by ʾnby and by S²yʾn and by ḏt Ṣnt- 7 m and by ḏt Ẓhrn and by S²hr Hll and his son Hwfʿm Yhnʿ- 8 m kings of Qatabān. |

CULTURAL NOTES
ʾnby is part of the official Qatabanian pantheon. In the inscriptions commemorating the construction of houses by private citizens,
after the mention of the name and of all the parts of the house, the god appears in the fixed expression "according to the orders of ʾnby, and let there be no violation thereof".
This phrase decrees the conclusion of works by the will of the god, and the ratification of ownership.
