1Wʾlm is elsewhere attested in ASA as a name of person. Here it could be the name of the family ancestor.

TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Fṣʿbdm and his son Ms¹ʿdm those of Wʾlm excavated and dug down and constructed their
   2  well Ġylm within their palm grove Bʾbt that of ʾṯʾbn, through the power and
   3  the help of ḏt Ẓhrn and of their lord S²hr Ygl Yhrgb king of Qatabān.
