TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Ydʿʾb Ḏbyn, son of S²hr, mukarrib of Qatabān and of all
   2  the children of ʿm and of Awsān and Kḥd and Dhs¹m and Tb-
   3  nw hewed out, opened up, smoothed and paved the Mblqt pass that of
   4  Brm and Ḥrb, and built and restored the temple of Wdm and ʾṯrt and the king's shelter
   5  in Qly, through the mobilization of Qatabān and the power of the people of Brm and Hrbt;
   6  by ʿṯtr and by ʿm and by ʾnby and by Ḥwkm and by ḏt Ṣntm
   7  and by ḏt Ẓhrn and by ḏt Rḥbn.
3at the end of the line ʾs¹n is a term employed as a determinative pronoun “that of”, and it must probably not to be taken as a preposition “between”.
