5 g-km s¹ḥr-s¹m ʾmlk Qtbn w-tʿlm-ʾy yd S²hr

1 S²hr Hll king of Qataban promulgated a renewal for his subjects the Priest of ʿm ḏ-Lbḫ and for their sons and their womenfolk according to the oracular decision and the renewal and the edict which the kings of Qataban had proclaimed (as an oracular decision) and decreed and promulgated (as a renewal) for 2 them and for their sons and their womenfolk on the basis of love and good promise and affiliation according to the oracular decision and renewal, which the kings of Qataban had proclaimed and decreed and promulgated for them; and S²hr proclaimed the oracular decision 3 for his subjects the Priests of ʿm ḏ-Lbḫ and their sons and their womenfolk to their benefit and he favoured them according to this renewal; and S²hr ordered for his subjects the Priests of ʿm ḏ-Lbḫ to write and to inscribe these 4 written records in the gate ḏ-S³dw in Timnaʿ, its month ḏ-ʾbhw, the last year of ʿms²bm he of Ygr and let them receive their due 5 as the kings of Qataban decreed for them and the signature (was made by) the hand of S²hr. |
