TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Ydʿʾb Ḏbyn Yhnʿm son of S²hr mukarrib of Qatabān and of all the chil-
   2  dren of ʿm and Awsān and Kḥd and Dhs¹m and Tbnw the first born of ʾnby and
   3  Ḥwkm the one of ʾmr and S²mr, Collector, qyn, Priest of ʿmm (or, great Priest), Priest of ʿmm (or, great Priest) for the second time
   4  Wizard and Priest of ʿm Ryʿn, Lord of land properties, in charge of sacrifices
   5  and of animals (for sacrifices) in the temple of Qny Hwrn built and restored the whole realization
   6  and the construction of the stones and wood and sandstone and limestone and ʿwt-material of the arrangement
   7  of the field at the behest of ʿm ḏ-Dwnm; by ʿṯtr and by ʿm and by ʾnby
   8  and by ḏt Ṣntm and by ḏt Ẓhrn; through the mobilization of Qatabān.
7ms²m means "field" in Sabaic, but here perhaps a construction is alluded.
