TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  ʾbkrb and Ḥywʿṯt and
   2  ʿbdʿṯtr and their son W-
   3  hbʾwm, of the family ʿqbm, dedicated
   4  to their lord ʾlmqhw, Lord of ʾwm,
   5  a statue in bronze, in praise because
   6  ʾlmqhw granted them a male
   7  child, and may ʾlmqhw continue
   8  to grant them - His servants -
   9  male healthy children, and may He grant him the safety
  10  of their persons, and may He grant them
  11  the goodwill and the satisfaction of their lord S²mr
  12  Yhrʿs², king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, and may
  13  He grant to them healthy crops and harvests,
  14  and may He deliver them and save
  15  them from the malice and the maleficence and the calumny
  16  of any enemy. By ʾlmqhw, Lord of ʾwm.
