TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Lʿs²m Brlm, descendant
   2  of Ḥgnn, dedicated to ʾlmqh,
   3  Lord of ʾwm, the statue
   4  in bronze, and as for ʾlmqh, may He
   5  grant to him the safety of his person,
   6  and for the safety of his settlers, those of
   7  Ḥgnn, and may He grant to him the goodwill
   8  and the satisfaction of his lord Mrṯdʾs¹ʾy,
   9  son of Ḏrnḥ and Ṣdqʾl,
  10  and may He grant to him blessings and
  11  fruits crops and harvests luxuriant;
  12  by ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm.
