TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Mbs²mt, she of Ṣrwḥ,
   2  dedicated to ʾlmqh Ṯhwn,
   3  Lord of ʾwm, the statue in bronze
   4  as His servant Mbs²mt
   5  promised Him, that as soon as
   6  He granted her the life for her
   7  of a child, she would have dedicated it to Him. And
   8  in fact He granted her the live of her two sons
   9  Ṯwbʾl and ʿmrm; and may He protect
  10  their persons, and may He help them
  11  against the maleficence and the malice.
  12  By ʾlmqh, Lord of ʾwm.
