5The letter b of Bʿdnm has been forgotten by the engraver.
6This is the first attestation of the tribe name ḏ-S¹(ḫy)m. S¹ḫym could be the name of an ancient city, identifiable with the castle SḪY of al-Ḥamdānī (cf. Robin 1982 a: 23).

English

   1  [... ...]fm, Fhdm, ʾlsʿd, Qyḥm,
   2  and their son Mṯwbm and his brother, of the family ʾbbhl
   3  built, laid the foundations and finished off their two houses Yfʿ
   4  and [... ...] their barn (?) and their two wells, by the help of ʿṯtr,
   5  ʾlmqh, ḏt Ḥmym and ḏt Bʿdnm, and by the help of
   6  their lords, of the family Sʾrn and of their tribe ḏ-Sḫym.
