GENERAL NOTES

A. Jamme thought that the inscription was a forgery (Jamme 1971: 59) because of the rough writing style and the name of god ḏ-S¹mwy written ḏ-S¹mw. The same advice is found on the online catalogue of the British Museum (http://www.britishmuseum.org/research/collection_online/collection_object_details.aspx?objectId=275748&partId=1&searchText=125162&page=1).
Nor Beeston et al. 1982: 103, 164 neither Sima 1999: 214 suggest that this could be a forgery. Actually, the text is linguistically consistent.
