TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  Bʿṯtr, of Wḍʾm, kbr of the whole ʾrymn, was in charge for his lord ʾls²rḥ, son of S¹mhʿly Ynf,
   2  of the whole planning and laying out of the vine-stocks and the Zizyphus-trees, and of the whole construction of the dam Ġyln and of the whole irrigation canal and of the sluice,
   3  and of the well Rwym from the ground level to the summit, the construction of stone, for the palmgroves ʾṯʾbn, Mṭrn, Mʾtmm
   4  ḏ-Fnwtm and S¹mṭnhn, the palmgroves of the king, the field in Wḍʾm in the valley Rmn. And built and dug out in the
   5  field of the palmgroves four covered cisterns and their canals from his and his levelled field (?). And was in charge for his lord, Ḏmrʿly B[..... ...]
3l-n ġyln ʿdy s²qrm: "vom Wasserlauf auf bis zur Oberkante" (P. Stein 2003 a).
