CULTURAL NOTES

The feminine personal name S²fnṯhw is attested here for the first time and may be translated as "Ṯhw has protected me (or us)", or "Protect me, O Ṯahw!". This compound name consists of the verb s²f (s²wf) "protect, see", the personal suffix -n and the theophoric element ṯhw (<ṯhwn), epithet of the god ʾlmqh.
