CULTURAL NOTES
As regards the chronological classification the inscription is related with the following data:
-the early monoteistic inscriptions (Gl 389=RES 3383= Mankaṯ 4 and Bayt al-Ašwal 2= Ga 2) mention the name of king Malikīkarib Yuhaʾmin and are dated to year 493 Ḥ.;
-the inscription ʿAbadān 1 mentions the king Ṯaʾrān Yuhanʿim from the year 470 Ḥ.;
-the un-published inscription MQ-Minkath 1 from Ẓafār (C.Robin, "Le roi ḥimyarite Ṯaʾrān Yuhanʿim. Stabilisation politique et réforme religieuse.", 2003) mentions the two coregents. Robin places this text at the end of the regency of Ṯaʾrān Yuhanʿim and dates it around the year 485 Ḥ.
