TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  ʾbkrb and his wife ʿmwṯn,
   2  of the family ʾns¹m, dedicated to the "two Ladies"
   3  in Their temple Ḥdṯm in Ḥlzwm,
   4  as they asked Them when they were in charge of the priesthood.
   5  They committed to Them their faculties and their goods.

CULTURAL NOTES

According to the editors, it is probably that the name Mrʾtyw "the two Ladies", could be referred to the goddesses Mwtr et ḏt Ġḍrn, deities venerated with Blw in the temple of Ḥdṯm in Ḥlzm.
