Apparatus
1-6On the right side, the inscription lines start with a word separator. In the lines 2-3 the separators would be inside a broken word (l.2 Yk l.3 rbmlk), so, for technical reasons, have not been marked in DASI.

TRANSLATIONS

English

   1  ʾs¹ds²fq, son of Yqs³mʾl,
   2  servant of Ydʿʾl and Ykrbmlk,
   3  repaired for ʾlmqh
   4  and Ṣrwḥ the (wall) break that
   5  he of Mʿnm had caused. And he killed (him of Mʿnm) and expelled
   6  them from Ṣrwḥ.
4ṯqb and nwl are two hapaxes. Nebes 2016: 74 compares ṯqb to Ar. ṯaqbun "Durchbohrung, Loch, Öffnung" and nwl to the Ar. nawwala "geben, gewähren".
