   3  ḥbān cette statue en bronze conformément
   4  à ce qu’Il lui a ordonné dans Son oracle, parce ce qu’un n(s²)[ʾ]m
   5  est survenu à son fils Rabbshamsum lors de la guerre qui a
   6  eu lieu, et en ce lieu (temple), elle a demandé les faveurs de Taʾlab,
   7  et Il a exigé cette dédicace et annoncé la bonne nouvelle
   8  qu’Il protégerait et sauverait Rabbshamsum de ce
   9  ns²ʾn w-fs¹ḥ l-hw l-s¹n-hw l-ḫ=
  10  ṭṭ w-tḥdṯn ; et elle a témoigné de l’autorité de
  11  Taʾlab par ce qu’Il lui a octroyé dans son oracle et Il a sauvé
  12  et protégé Rabbshamsum de ce ns²ʾn ;

The author of this inscription is a woman whose name is lost. She made this dedication for her son Rabbshamsum.
