   1  Ḏamarʿalī Ḏarīḥ, der König von Sabaʾ und ḏū Raydān, der Sohn des Kari[bʾ]-
   2  il Watar, hat den Gedenkaltar des <ʿAṯtar> Šāriqān in Wṭḥtn errichtet, als er die rituelle Jagd
   3  des ʿAṯtar und Karwam ausführte.

CULTURAL NOTES

The king takes up rituals attested many centuries before. His presence on Jabal al-Lawdh is known. In our inscription he remember a sacred hunt in honor of ʿṯtr and of Krwm, attested in the eighth-seventh century BC.
