7 mrm bn zḫnt zḫn b-mwṭnn b-qs¹—

TRANSLATIONS

1 ʾnmrm, of the family S²mrt, dedicated to ʾlmqh 2 ḏ-Hrn this tablet, as he bade him 3 in His oracle, because He protected him 4 during his pilgrimage of ḏ-Mʿlṣn and because 5 ʾlmqh granted him to win success thanks to (the dedication of) his bull, and 6 because ʾlmqh aided and saved his servant ʾn- 7 mrm from the wound which he received on the battlefield by the 8 violence of the warriors. And may ʾlmqh continue to save and deliver 9 His servant ʾnmrm from harm and mischief 10 and any mischief; and may He grant him the goodwill of their lords, 11 the family Mrṯdm; and for what has been favourable and may be favourable to ʾ- 12 nmrm. |
