| Notes on support and decorations | This incense burner is an only one exemplar either for the material (baked clay) or structure. It is composed by an upper bowl, inscribed and decorated on the exterior, and a tall, splayed foot. Although circular-shaped, the object shows a clear frontal side, recognizable for the decoration with the motif of crescent moon and disc on the censer and three small pillars which join the censer bottom with the foot edge. The small pillars are detached from the splayed foot. |
