| Notes on support and decorations | The body of the gem is a black stone (possibly agate); a thin stratum of pale blue on the surface. A three-faced head surmounted by bull's horns; the central face is beardless, those at the sides bearded. According to Beeston, the subject could be the representation of the moon-god, the three faces representing the moon's phases. |
