| Notes on support and decorations | This is the only example of such kind of objects in the Louvre collection. Inside the niche, there must probably have been a sculpture of human head. If so, ll.3-4 were hidden and addressed to the divinity. The deceased's name was perhaps written on the head. (Robin). |
