| Notes on support and decorations | Complete stela with plain framework representing a frontal and schematic bull's head. The nose is quite stylized; the lateral eyes underlined by grooves. The short open horns end at their base in a ring filled by a series of incised lines. In the middle of the front a triangle with oblique incised lines, probably representing a tuft of hair and a kind of feathering on the top (for the interpretation of this element as vegetal and ritual ornament see Dostal 1999: 132-133). Low and flat relief. |
