| Notes on support and decorations | A calcite-alabaster face with incised eyes without pupils (details probably originally painted), a brow ridge running straight across the face, a rectangular forehead, stylized ears positioned high on the head, and a small rectangular nose with creases extending down to the chin on either side of a small incised mouth. The face widens in the area of the cheeks, indicating a rather corpulent individual, probably female. The face is flat, carved essentially in two planes, and has a dull finish. There are small pick marks on back, but the head is smooth on top. |
