| Notes on support and decorations | Plaque carved from cream coloured calcite-alabaster with orange veining. The face has a strong rectangular brow, puckered lips, incised ears, long damaged nose and small mouth with a light smile. The eyes details are scarcely indicated (probably painted). The surface is poorly polished, with fine tool marks over surface; the stone around the face is left rough. The plaque may have been carved from a reused object. |
