| Notes on support and decorations | A hand-made pale red pottery jar with flat base, rounded body, and neck with everted rim. The exterior and interior of rim and neck are finished with a pale red slip and solid burnish, over which there are some traces of red paint. There is a roughly scratched mark on the body, incised after firing, which may be an ʾ or s¹. The fabric is fine, buff-coloured, micaceous, and contains burnt out vegetal-temper. |
