| Notes | The provenance of the stone is possibly the Shibām al-Ghirās area. In fact, in 1928 an Italian official in Yemen sent to the Italian authorities the copy of an inscription seen in a village of the region of Shibām al-Ghirās, which perfectly corresponds to the text of the Istituto per l'Oriente (Nalesini 2012: 72-73). The inscription was brought to Italy later. |
