Notes on support and decorationsLimestone incense burner with truncated-pyramidal base. The upper element has a squared shape. It is decorated with three merlons on top of each side. The frontal face is the only to show a decoration. This consists of a squared panel with the representation of the crescent moon and disc standing on a trapezoidal base. The upper and lateral sides are decorated with false windows. The lower side shows a horizontal row of dentils. The inscription is incised on the frontal and the two lateral sides (on the right one, then on the left side) the of the base.
For the measures of each side of the object, see Jamme 1958-1959: 185.
