| Notes on support and decorations | The top framework bears the ovoli motif; the lateral ones show an incised guilloche motif. The plaque is divided in three superimposed recessed panels, separated by two raised bands decorated with a row of incised lying lotus flowers. In the upper panel a heraldic representation with two winged sphinxes with the forepaw raised in front of a stylized tree of life is represented; the composition is placed between two lateral palms trees in full fruit. The lower panel is decorated with four rosettes: the two central ones have eleven regular petals; the two lateral ones, with eight petals, alternate a regular petal with a scalloped one. Lost-wax casting and incision. |

CULTURAL NOTES
The oval motifs, the guilloche motifs on the framework are typical of the South Arabian style.
