| Notes on support and decorations | Red agathe round seal in form of a scaraboid, perforated. A human and a mythical animal figure are represented; two letters are engraved between them. According to Pirenne's description, the human figure is masculine, bearded and horned. An arm is stretched out to grab something which is held by the mythical figure. This is winged and, according to Pirenne, has woman's chest. Behind the man, a zig-zag line might be interpreted as a snake according to Von der Osten. |
